Our group from the Naval Medical Center San Diego recently attended the Vail Veterans Program Winter Sports Clinic. Most of our group stayed at the Tivoli Lodge. We truly appreciated the opportunity to spend 5 days in Vail, but were really fortunate to call the Tivoli home during that time. The accommodations were outstanding and the staff exceptional. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. We hope to return in the future.

We stayed at Tivoli Lodge for 4 nights the week before President’s Day 2012. The hotel was fantastic. The decor was cozy with rustic charm. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We skied three days and the ski valet service was great. The location is ideal, being only a five minute walk to both the Riva Bahn and Vista Bahn express lifts. We were able to have a great breakfast each morning at 7:00 AM and get to the lift by the time they started operating at 8:30 AM. The restaurants and shops of Vail Village are all within easy walking distance of the hotel as well. We met the owner and his dogs while we were at the hotel and he was both friendly and proud of his property. If and when we return to Vail, we will certainly wish to stay at Tivoli again. Furthermore, we have and will recommend it to others.

We stayed at the Tivoli twice this season (2011-2012). Lodge staff was very friendly and attentive. Location is very convenient to the Golden Peak Riva chair and Vista Bahn.
While Tivoli is at the Golden Peak side, the Vail in-town bus stop is literally at Tivoli’s doorstep which makes it easy to go to Lionshead or the far end of Vail Village. We would take the bus to go to dinner and then enjoy the walk back to the lodge after dinner.
If you are a pet lover, Speed (Chocolate Lab) the house mascot will greet you. If you are fortunate enough, the lady of the house Jeepster (Sheltie) may make an appearance?

Fantastic all round. The facilites are excellent, location excellent, even the other guests, but more than all, the staff just make this place tick. You are treated more like an extension to the Lazier family, than a guest. For the traveler on business there is strong Wifi throughout, pc, fax, internet and a quiet conference room area for meetings. For the ski; only a 200 yd walk to the lift and ski to the back door on good days ( within 50 yds on bad days). The village centre is only 100 yds away, but far enough to be quiet at night. Hotel breakfast, although now charged for is excellent quality and quantity.

Tivoli is truly beautiful – from the communal areas (fantastic, cosy lounge and fireplace) to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Treat yourself to the mountain view room with fireplace. The fireplace really made it for me.
Location is ideal – short amble to Vista Bahn and a little further to Riva Bahn (I found myself plotting my ski routes around Vista as it was more convenient and a shorter queue). Vail village is a short and pleasant walk away – restaurant recommendations on the website are worth paying attention to.
Staff are beyond friendly and helpful, including the owners who you’ll bump into from time to time.
Need to try hard to find fault with this place so only negative is that breakfast is an additional charge, would be nice if it was included with the room rate.
Besides that, a wonderful place to stay in Vail and I will definitely be going back and recommended it to all.
